1.Screws: The twin screw extruder features two closely intermeshing screws that rotate within a barrel. These screws can have various configurations (e.g., co-rotating, counter-rotating) and profiles (e.g., intermeshing, non-intermeshing) depending on the application and material being processed.

2.Barrel: The barrel surrounds and contains the screws. It is typically heated to facilitate melting and mixing of the materials. The barrel may have multiple sections with different temperature zones to control the process conditions.

3.Feeding Zone: At the beginning of the barrel, the material is fed into the extruder. This zone may include mechanisms such as feed hoppers or side feeders to introduce additives or additional materials.

4.Mixing and Transport Zone: As the screws rotate, they transport the material along the barrel while simultaneously mixing and kneading it. This action helps distribute additives uniformly and facilitates blending of multiple materials.

5.Melting Zone: In this section, the material undergoes melting due to the combined effects of shear forces generated by the screws and external heating. The temperature and screw configuration are adjusted to achieve proper melting without degradation,with an advanced temperature sensing system.

6.Metering and Pressure Build-Up Zone: Towards the end of the barrel, the material is compressed and pressurized to ensure consistent output. This zone may include elements like restriction zones or kneading blocks to further refine the material.

7.Die: At the end of the extruder, the material exits through a die. The die shapes the material into the desired form, such as pellets, profiles, or films. The design of the die determines the final dimensions and characteristics of the extruded product.The final product of the granulator is pellets.
